Sophie Guyot lives and works in Lausanne. After studying literature, she specialized in artistic projects that use light as the main material. Her large-scale installations are showcased at light festivals worldwide, mostly outdoors. Additionally, she creates permanent light installations for public buildings (public art). Here, she presents small-format works that feature figures and luminous elements.

The photographer Gabi Vogt lives and works in Zurich. Clearly evident in her images is her fine connection with people, as seen in her work “Jetzt.Ich,” portraits of teenagers. Gabi Vogt is a member of the 13 Photo photography agency and creates work for books, magazines, corporate projects, and advertising.

A painter of German origin, she settled in Switzerland in 2012. After studying at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen, she obtained a Master of Fine Arts at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Her oil paintings, exhibited in Switzerland and internationally, master hyperrealism techniques to capture a precise reality while inviting a contemplative distance.

Anne Gabriel-Jürgens was born in Hamburg, where she studied art, design, and photography. She has been photographing since 2004 and has lived in Zurich since 2009. She is a member of the 13 Photo photography agency. Her projects focus on current social issues such as women and gender, as well as the environment and sustainability in relation to identity and the search for “home.”

Tae Hwa Lee, born in Yeongdeok, South Korea, studied in Daegu and has lived in Switzerland for 20 years. In her self-portraits, she interprets the Narcissus myth as consciousness rather than self-satisfaction. Using a dry brush technique, the figure stands out from the dynamic background and reflects the transience of things.

Denise Felber, born in 1963, is a Swiss artist who, alongside her journalistic work, has completed a portfolio study and regularly pursues further education. She blends the techniques of painting, engraving, and photography, delights in nature, and questions our relationship with the environment.

This self-taught artist couple works in La Chaux-de-Fonds with four hands. Ink, paper, folding, and Japanese techniques are the guiding threads of their creations. Their papers float lightly. They mix and unravel to scatter pebbles along the path of imagination.

Natalia grew up in Moscow in a family of artists, graduated from the Higher School of Arts, and worked as an Art Director. After moving to Switzerland in 2016, she was inspired by Swiss architecture and created the series “Reverse Architecture,” aiming to highlight iconic structures by isolating buildings, setting accents, and making their core visible. Her special technique conveys the buildings’ volume and achieves an expressive effect.

Philipp Koller, an artist from Toggenburg, has been studying human behaviors for years, which he transfers onto animals. His animal portraits, which appear cute at first glance, lose their innocence upon closer inspection. Koller uses various materials such as found pieces of wood, images from second-hand shops, and photographs.

Nicolas Witschi, from Brig in Valais, studied art in Lucerne. He has received numerous awards and exhibited in Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. Fascinated by collecting stones, he transforms them into pigments for his landscapes. Inspired by Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, he questions the perception of reality through contrasts of shadow and light.

„Poissons d’argent“ from Lausanne are Julie Casolo, a photographer and illustrator, and Rahel Duvoisin, a ceramicist and naturopath. Together they design lamps where their worlds merge. Discovered metal cans are combined with lampshades made from shaped white ceramics, creating objects that are both aesthetic and functional.

Marina Witteman, born in 1984 in Moscow, worked in the automotive industry for ten years before turning to fine arts in 2013. She studied in Moscow, São Paulo, Shanghai, and London. In her work, she uses materials such as newspapers, symbols of mass media, which she folds, colors, and shades. Being synesthetic, she employs this unique perception to play not only with recycled media materials but also with colors. In doing so, she criticizes the one-sidedness of imposed viewpoints, transforming them into works of art.

Daphne Kokkini, born in 1978, is an architect trained in Athens and Zurich. In 2015, she founded the workshop for creative collaboration, and since 2019, Kokkini has focused on ceramics. Her art includes installations, scenography, film, and performance and is based on intercultural observations, with an emphasis on architecture, landscape, materials, and construction methods.

Svitlana Bozhko is a Ukrainian artist, interior designer, and architect. Fleeing from the war brought her to Switzerland. The incredibly beautiful nature of this country inspired her and saved her from despair. Her realistic, masterful oil paintings depict landscapes showcasing the Swiss mountains.

Dagmar Heinrich lives and works in Zurich. Things find her, and she processes them, creating something new: a picture, an object, glued, sewn, nailed, bound, or painted. Language also inspires her, and she works with it, giving it new meanings. Conceptually, her work combines elements of Art Brut and a bit of South American style, as people say.

Till Könneker is from Berlin and lives and works in Bern under the pseudonym “ewert.” Since the end of 2022, he has been highlighting the imperfect, unnatural, and sometimes disturbing aspects of artificial intelligence. These visual worlds transcend the boundaries of reality and offer a glimpse into the magnificent abysses of this new technology.

Felix Brunner lives and works in Thalwil. His primary artistic mediums are painting, installation, and video. Figuration and abstraction merge in his works. He confronts the mysterious with the obvious and the outlined with the formless. The artist continually explores the disappearance of the world of things and the materialistic and purpose-driven perspective on the world.

Caroline Fink is a photographer and filmmaker from Zurich. With degrees in Sociology and German Literature, she leads Photography and Digital Storytelling at MAZ in Lucerne and teaches at the Leica Academy Switzerland. As a passionate mountaineer, she focuses on the Alps, mountains worldwide, and their inhabitants. Her work tells stories through images, films, and reports, often highlighting neglected but important topics.
